Good Friday Eastern Sacred Songs
The grief in the songs is evident by the sad voice of Fairuz. She's describing the crucifixion with deep compassion, then with glory as she's singing about the first return. Fairuz has been performing a concert every year on Good Friday for decades now. In some of the songs/hymns she is not accompanied with music and you don't really miss it. Aside from the choir, the sad violin notes really add to the whole mood of the album. However the audio quality of the album is not that great, and a recording of one of her annual Good Friday concerts should be made. There is nothing in the booklet, not even writing credits but it's safe to say that these are traditional Good Friday Eastern sacred songs.

Writing credits are not available.
