Review: In a full house, Fairuz performed an unforgettable concert. Dedicated to the children of the Arab world, especially those under the siege in Palestine, the concert was Fairuz's message about what has been going on in Palestine. It was the night of the 29th April 2002 at the auditorium of the American university. After the UAE and the Lebanese anthems, the concert began with a piece from Rajioun, followed by Zahrat Elmadaen, Ya Jisran Khashabian, before Fairuz leaves the stage. The choir then sang Nasri's Sheik Elmina and Talo Esayadi. Fairuz turns on stage with Kifak Inta and Eshtaatelak. The choir followed up singing Ziad's Marba Edalal and Eltili Tarktak. That's when Fairuz reentered to sing Shadi, Fi Ahwa Al Mafra, Habbaytak Tnseet Enoum and Melheb Jay ending the first half of the concert. The second half began with the Ziad's instrumental Raqset Ers which can be found on his Bema Enno album. Fairuz returns to sing Yara, Maarefti Feek, Dhak Khelee Ya Saby and Habbaytak Besayf. After Fairuz had left the stage, the choir sang Saalouni Enas and Ayeeshi Wahda Balak. From the backstage, Fairuz sang Ghab Naharon Akhr, before entering again in the auditorium to sing Ya Roboo Biladi, Elqods Fel Bal, Rudani Ila Beladi, and then to sing the Rajioun operette in its entirety going for about 20 minutes unstopped. The concert ended with Fairuz singing a verse from Zahrat Elmadaen. (Source: Assafir newspaper)
